anyway todays the festival of lights.. which is what i understand to be a celebration.. when indians come together for reunions.. and have a lot of lights? im sorry at my lack of knowledge.

but today was a holiday so i hit town with my cousin for a bit of shopping and to catch tropic thunder, which i thought was pretty gold.

the whole point of this post is pretty much to show the shoes i got from a sale.. haha which cost me $60 each! which is a fair bargain because i found the same shoe in another shop going at $120!!! haha my inner asian is crappin his pants

anypoops now that mums back in melbourne and my medical leave is well and truely over sadly... Its been back to the same kinda routine and lifestyle as before. Went with amanda for dinner tonight for her bdays and discussed a two week trip back down under sometime next year!

I use the term downunder to sound more bogan and cool.. even though im asian and its not really that cool when i say it..

still unsure if i'll be able to go to thailand with cat, french connection and mish sometime next year.. but its all up in the air.. ie to my bosses will

So several happenings have happened since my last post but its been slightly hard to type with my finger since the operation .. well that and im insanely lazy at home.

The surgery wasn't as painful or bad as i thought it would be.. the most painful part being when they moved the injection needle while it was still in my hand.. and most amusing part being the gangster rap that came up in the background while everything was going on.

Pretty painful experience with 6 stiches, it looks friggin digusting. haha but i have been at home recovering and getting fat-esque.

AND of course mum came over to Singapore which was quite entertaining.

haha it was a good time to catch up, insanely enough i can actually spend extended periods with her and have good time.. and i only have to bear with the od lecture on how poor i am.

sheneways.. haha a series of big dinners and small gatherings occured during her trip which im sure are entertaining in their own way but i shant blog upon them.
she'll be back with dad soon enough so.

went to city harvest today, the biggest church in Singapore. Was a little awkward at first because i was watching a tv.. but the service and such were pretty good so i'll probs be going there for now!

so mums in town ! its been good times she arrived on tuesday night so we spent all of today together. Lunch with an old friend, coffee with grandma and others. haha fun in a way.. but good just to spend some time with mother dearest

She'll be here over the time of my operation.. which i haven't really mentioned on my blog yet. So for those uninformed about it im sorry i haven't mentioned it much, its a minor operation on my index finger.. so its nothing much to cry home about, but yeah just to let people know im going under the knifage.. which should be some wholesome entertainment for the whole family..
